Introduction: The Justice of the Peace Records include eight dockets maintained by the Justice of the Peace. Six of the dockets contain civil proceedings, and the other two dockets contain criminal suits. The dockets cover the 1880s-1960, and were compiled by several Justices of the Peace, including H.J. Mathews and J.H. Young.

Description
The Justice of the Peace Records contain four court dockets dealing with civil issues from the early 1880s-1960. There is brief information on the type of case, plaintiff and defendant, the court dates, any relevant charges, any issuances of summons, and a verdict or settlement indication. In the criminal court dockets, there are copies of several warrants issued, and descriptions of the various criminal charges being pressed against the defendants.
